I did waive my rights to read the recs, but if I ask my teachers if they would be willing to let me read it, would that still be breaking the agreement? What if they offer to let me read it? How much of a taboo is it to read reccomendations after the rights are waived? I feel like its not that big of a deal.

small bump

If you’re teachers are willing to show you then go ahead… But if you’re teachers are using the online CommonApp then you will be unable to read them unless you get accepted to said university.

yeah, they used the online one, but hopefully they made a word copy of it or something. I am pretty sure one of them did, cause he said I could use it for other scholarships too if I wanted to.

If you waived ur Buckley Amendment, u may not have the right to read it if ur teacher doesn’t want to show u his/her rec.
