Heres mine:

November thirty-first was one of the most unusual days of my life. My college planning packet was due to my counselor the following day, and I had just finished adding the University of Pennsylvania to my list, after I had thought of all the events that occurred during the day.
“UPenn is tight!” I recalled a student yell in the hallway as I walked to my business class; I looked back, ignored it, and kept walking. As I entered, there was an unfamiliar face at the front of the room. We had a substitute, his name was Mr. Delucia, he introduced himself and stated that he was an Alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania. Later that night, after I finished up my homework, I decided to see what was on TV, I did some channel surfing and stopped on an interesting biography of Donald Trump, it was mentioned that he too graduated from the Wharton school of business at UPenn. Convinced that the three occurrences so far were merely coincidences, I changed the channel only to see Bono giving a speech to The University of Pennsylvania’s class of 2004. As I sat there contemplating what these coincidences could mean, the door bell rang; I closed the TV, and peeked through the window to see my aunt (another Upenn alumna!) wearing her Penn sweater.
I felt as if I was in an episode of the Twilight Zone; without even answering the door I ran up to my room, took my college planning packet out and stared at it. I interpreted the day’s events as one obvious omen and logged onto the University of Pennsylvania’s website. Despite being extremely intimidated, I finally understood the characteristics of UPenn my aunt had been bragging about since I entered high school. I had always seen the University of Pennsylvania as another Ivy League institution that I had no business associating myself with. My mentality had changed after having a chat with my aunt, she was thrilled that I was finally considering UPenn, and described the University of Pennsylvania as the “best academic experience of her life.” I began to imagine myself spending long hours in the Van Pelt-Dietrich library studying, or absorbing from the faculty at one of the freshman seminars. I came back to reality and began reminiscing on my high school career.
It was already midnight, I was lying on my bed, still unsure on what to do, I felt regret towards my first two years of high school. My laziness and youthful immaturity had put me in a very difficult situation. Had I gotten my act together earlier I could have been an excellent candidate for your university, setting aside my lagging standardized tests scores. I had always settled for average when I knew I could do better. When I first made the honor roll the first quarter of my junior year, I was shocked what I managed to do, and began to push myself academically. Moreover, at Penn I could take full advantage of everything it has to offer, the college curriculum would ensure that I get the best well-rounded academic experience. I was also very interested in the Wheel at UPenn, a service I could take full advantage of so I make sure never to repeat those mistakes I made at the beginning of high school.
I understand that I am not Penn’s ideal applicant; but I selected your university because I cannot imagine spending the next four years of my life anywhere else. I felt Penn would look beyond the numbers and see the new me, the focused, ambitious young man who wants to succeed. I am sure the workload will be heavy, but nothing can stop me from my ultimate goal, I have the potential, I have the mentality, and I have the work ethic. I want to succeed and the University of Pennsylvania will equip me with the necessary tools to do so. Attending your university would be both an honor and a dream come true.

I really don't like that one =P

no one forced you to like it.

That would be.... correct? =P
