Hey, if you're a student at Penn, or a parent (or really, at this point, anyone who is older than a senior in high school haha), could you please read my Why Penn essay?
I really want to submit the app, but I just don't know how I feel about the essay. Penn is one of my top two schools, and it's really important to me that this essay is as good as possible.
(Also, I posted this here instead of in the essay forum because I was hoping to reach some people with Penn experience lol)
Thanks so much in advance!

Hi, I just private messaged you. I’ll help you if you want me to.

Hi, I have 4 cousins who went to Penn and currently interview prospective applications from my region. They advise tons of prospective Penn applicants so I can show then your essay if you like. Feel free to PM me :)

Don’t ask people applying to Penn to read your essays. They just want to get your idea.
Ask your best friend to read it. And your friend should only tell you whether he/she like them or not. Don’t let them edit.

@coolweather Fair enough.

I assure the OP that I won’t be applying for some time. I just finished the 11th grade and still have national service afterwards for 2 years which is a requirement in my nation. OP can check my post history if in any doubt

Yet if you feel uncomfortable sharing it with me then totally fine. All the best regardless :)

@Alcaraz thank you for the offer! I actually ended up having someone check it already, so don’t worry about it
@coolweather thanks for the reminder! don’t worry, I check post history to make sure that I’m not dealing with someone trying to steal my ideas I actually did have my best friend read it, but I just wanted some more feedback.

@marshmallowpop No worries, good luck :)
