This September I’ll be re entering Freshman year. I’m Seventeen and I did poorly before by cutting and skipping school all the time. I want to get my life together and I have found my motivation again. I used to be an overachiever and I plan on being that way again. If I get all As, join a sport, extracurricular activities, get a high SAT score and volunteer what are my chances on getting into a great university such as the Ivys even though I’ll be graduating High School at either 20 or 21.
This is a type of thing where you are “restarting life”, and its quite rare, so its hard to say how it’ll affect you. I did hear that Ivies like to keep their class approximately the same age, so it’ll definitely be difficult, even if you manage to pull a competitive application. But never give up hope! Good luck man. I’ve known a few people like you, but they all ended up going down their initial route. I hope that does not happen to you.
See if you can graduate a year early (graduate after junior year).
