I've recently decided that joining a sorority is for me but sadly I'm almost 100% sure that the registration period is closed and I haven't attended any of the info meetings or anything like that. I am not interested in the Multicultural sororities. Is there any chance I could still get into any of the sororities? I know that there are some co-ed fraternities that will be recruiting this week. For example, I've seen flyers for Phi Delta Epsilon. Has anyone heard of this frat? Would it be a good idea to join a co-ed frat? Would the experience be similar to joining a sorority? Any help would be appreciated!

are u interested?

the girls are so stuck up, fake, and, well, dirty.

is that you?

@Insert - You have no right to say that about women you have not met. You’re not funny, that’s just being an @sshole. I’m not surprised you have no friends and hate UCSD so far. Good luck with that elitist attitude.

@OP, yes, sorority recruitment is over now. Joining a co-ed fraternity is not quite the same, but for some people it’s a better or more worthwhile experience. They both just have completely different focuses and aren’t really interchangeable. Co-eds focus mostly on community service and pre-professional programs. Regular sororities are more social-based so you mingle with other chapters and meet a ton of people, and of course community service is also an important part of sorority life.

A few sorority chapters do recruitment in winter and/or spring, but to visit ALL sorority chapters, you would have to wait until fall next year. It goes by really fast though, and might be nice to make your own friends outside of the greek system before then.

look whose talkin ******

^ obviously you have issues

INSERT, you wonder why you are having issues adjusting here?

You aren’t even an Elitist. ucsandiego gave you the best compliment a girl at this school will ever offer you.
