<p>This may seem like a stupid question...but I didn't know if one can just take it without being in Honors</p>
<p>(I was invited to honors but didn't apply because I was too lazy)</p>
<p>I think you need to be in honors. If you want to take the Great Books class and can still accept the honors invitation, I would consider doing so. You would need only one other honors course which could be satisfied by the honors section of a regular class.</p>
<p>You must be honors to take that class.</p>
