Hi CC,

I am planning on transfering to Brown in 2012 as a Pol Science or Economics major, and would like to study abroad for a year if I get in. Would this be possible? I have looked at the prospectus and have seen that if all goes well, I will be able to complete the requirements for my major and even make honours in time, so I was wondering if I could spend my Seniour year possibly studying at one of the Brown approved programs in France.

Answers will be greatly appreciated

Thank you :)

This really belongs on the Brown forum; students who actually attend Brown would be able to answer your question better.

Planning to study abroad as a transfer student is pretty tricky. You’d need to find out if the registrar will approve ALL of your courses that you’re planning to transfer in, and if they don’t, will you still need to stay on campus to take more courses? Each university has its own rules about how many outside credits can be counted towards graduation.

Hi friends,

Well, I think you’re planning is better. I would advise you stay away from your native people so that you will make the most out of your visit. Make use of it while you are still young since the older you get the harder the travel due to commitments.

Thanks to success your life
