Hi, I am a rising junior who is currently considering taking AP Lang next year. I’m worried though that I might not have the required prerequisites to take AP Lang because I did CP English 10, not honors. I did very well in the class and got around a 95 both semester. The teacher recommended AP Lang for me. What do you guys think? Would CP English 10 to AP Lang be too big of a jump or could I do it?
If the teacher recommended you, do it -congratulations. 
Perhaps look at /ask for the reading list the honors class has and complete your current assignments with it but trust yourself and your teacher.
If they recommend you for it, I say go for it.
However, you may not initially know what is expected of you.
So start your essays/homework early, and attend teacher office hours at first asking for feedback. Take that feedback and make changes.
