1B is the second semester of calculus(integrals) and 2C is the third(differential equations).

I thought a D is not a passing grade.

If math 1B is a prerequisite for math 2C, which I assume it is, then no.

But I enrolled in the class before getting the D and I’m still enrolled. Do you think that I’m going to get kicked out of it, and I might as well just re enroll in 1B?

They’re going to drop you. Most colleges let you register for a course if you’re currently taking the prerequisite on the assumption you’re going to pass. If you fail they usually drop you automatically or a notification is sent to the professor on the first day of class listing all the people that are registered and don’t have the prerequisite completed. In which case they ask you for proof that you’ve completed it.

Also, if you can’t pass integrals, how are you gonna pass diff eq? DE involves a lot of integration.

And… differential equations is the 3rd semester of calculus at your school? Typically 3rd semester calc is vector calc/multivariable calculus, with differential equations/linear algebra being offered as separate courses.

After integrals we can take either linear algebra, multivariate calculus or differential equations in any order.
