Can I transfer to UCI as a business major without taking Calculus?

Hi all. I want to transfer to UCI as a Business Informations Management Major; however, according to assist, I must take Calculus in order to transfer. However, on the UCI website under the business transfer category, it states, “Complete one year of approved college level math, preferably courses in calculus equivalent to UCI’s Mathematics 2A-B; if not available, two semester courses equivalent to other major-related math courses are acceptable”.

Does this mean that I can take Business Calculus instead of Calculus? Are there any business transfers, who are currently attending UCI, that got into UCI like this? How will this impact my admission?

I do know the UCs calculate bus calc and calc as duplications. However, as it pertains to your selective major, I would shoot them an email to verify.

Hello I want to transfer to UCI what is the highest level math do you have to take for psychology major?

@soojin1 You need to go to assist.org and plug in your CCC to get the exact course.
Psych has some Calc - or a psychology statistics course.
Psych and social behavior seems to just have a statistics course.
