Hey everybody,

A little background information.

I'm currently finishing up my GE from my community college. I have a 2.6-2.7 GPA average and I plan on transferring to San Jose State University. SJSU is very close to me (25 minutes away.) The class I failed was a cultural anthro class and my major is global studies.

Two years ago I moved and attended a community college for only one semester. It was my first time living on my own and it didn't work out. I had to move back to my parents because and since it was too late to drop my classes I received an F in cultural anthropology.

Because of a failed class being on my transcript, and attending a community college for one semester, then another one for three years. Is my likelyhood of transferring an auto-decline?

TLDR; Moved on my own to a new city, living didn't workout. Forced to move back and receive an F for not finishing a class. Went to original community college for another 2 years have a 2.6-2.7 GPA. Wanting to transfer to San Jose State. Will I get in with a F on my transcript?

Thanks in advance to everybody who will take the time for guidance and advice for my future.
:)
