In reply to aznbluelilgirl…your stats make me nervous about my chances!
My stats have changed as of recently and that little change has put me into a new group of candidates, but when I applied with these stats last month I was ACCEPTED to:
ACT: 28
GPA: 3.75
ECs: Ton
blah blah blah
Tulane University
Loyola University Chicago
I recently got a 32 on my ACT test and I think that really paints my academic application in a different perspective.
Wow.
So many Asians with near perfect stats (2350+, 750+ SAT IIs) and good ECs were rejected from HYP.
While URMs with lower scores are getting in…that’s…
Just really maddening.
what is HYP, i am just awe by the score and GPA you guys have. Almost everyone in this forum has SAT>2100
Harvard / Yale / Princeton
lol, bio chem , that is obvious it is fake
add Saint Louis University to the list of my “accepted” schools with slightly above average stats.
I live in Randolph, where did you go to high school?
And looking at you acceptances, all I have to say is, “Wow”

i chose to attend UCLA because it would help save us $$. plus, because i am closer to home i help support the family. Everything i need is in LA. sure, A LOT of people have criticized me for not choosing harvard or Princeton over UCLA (i get this alot from korean mothers, because all they care about is that their son or daughter gets into an Ivy League schools in order for the mom to brag to her friends. i got in, so screw you [referring to all the korean ladies out there]. yea i know, its messed up; korean children are basically “bred” for the benefit of their parents), but my family cant just shell out $40,000+ for every single year (even if harvard helped me cut the tuition price down) yea, i actually have no regrets at all. it doesnt matter that much about the undergrad but the grad program you enter…
plus, Im a diehard Bruins fan!!
