I was not a big fan of the regular burgers at Ivy’s. The bun always seemed too cold and stale. Same at Nasty’s, I’d always get the mozzarella sticks for the late night cravings.

The dijon burger, on another hand, is a work of art. Burger patty, swiss cheese, special dijon sauce, grilled onions all between two thick pieces of sauerdough bread and cooked grilled cheese style until hot and perfect.

Yeah, sorry. I just had an image of the most pathetic place to be sitting with your parents on a Saturday night and Denny’s came up. Didn’t mean to excite you.

(I read the second page and was wondering how everybody started talking about burgers. come to find out, it was because of me… oops.)

mmmm…gomestar, stop, you are making me crave one.

I haven’t had one in 4 months!

^ I’m going to get one tomorrow now thanks to you guys.

Burgers are more important than parents staying in the dorms.

Parents can visit anytime they or you wish, hopefully you both agree on that time. It is not a prison for g.ds sake.

But please, no parents in the dorm!! (Why would a parent want to subject themselves to that!!)

I’m pleased to say I will be back on campus a few times this semester (banking interviews). I will be camped out at the Ivy room eating my dijon burger.

Also, if your parents do come, at least make them take you to Banfi. Good food, good wine (I visited their estate in Italy not long ago).
