This fall I will be going into my second year of community college. I got a 2.078 my first semester, due to my finals (though I had maintained great grades during the first part of the semester), and a 3.43 in the second semester. I know now what needs to changed and I am positive that I can a 4.0 for both semesters this year. However, if I did the math correctly, this would still mean that my final overall GPA is approximately a 3.68 (please correct me if I am wrong!). In spite of what some people have said about transfer students not needing to retake standardized tests due to already being in college, I'm going to retake the ACT, as my scores expired this year and my college needs me to renew the score, as well as take the SAT and several AP tests. I know that if I study hard, I can score very high on all of these tests, as I have always been a great test taker and did fairly well on my ACT the first time around in spite of not studying (I got a 25 overall, a 30 on the Reading, a 30 on the English, a 20 on the Science, and a 17 on the Math). I have been actively studying for all of these over the course of the summer in addition to reading up on my course material for the coming year.

I'm aiming pretty high in terms of where I want to apply this year, and I'm wondering what you think my chances are if I I put forth everything I've got this year.

I will most likely be a double major in English and Spanish.

These are some of the schools I will be applying to. This is not a comprehensive list, but it should give an idea of what I am aiming towards:
-Brown University
-Oxford University
-Trinity College Dublin
-Kenyon College
-Williams College
-College of William and Mary
-Middlebury College
-Mills College
