If my grades improved, if I earned a major award, etc., would I be able (and would it increase admissions chances) to contact the colleges I applied to and give them updates on what I’ve done since I applied?
Unless it is something really startling, it is unlikely to make a difference at this stage- decisions are about to go out.
@collegemom3717 Now that I think about it, you’re right. It probably wouldn’t change anything with only a week or so before I get my decisions.
@STEMinist16 it does seem really late for it to make a difference but, if for some reason i didn’t get accepted, it would always make me wonder. What if I had sent it? Would it have made a difference? Just thinking out loud…but no harm in sending.
@pkchamp89 I see what you’re saying. I think I’m going to do it only if I get waitlisted at any schools, to help my chances of being accepted off the list during the summer.
@STEMinist16 Sounds like a good plan. Good luck to you.
@pkchamp89 Thanks! You too (I take it you’re waiting for decisions to come out as well!)
