With my two senator noms still pending......can I call them and let them know that I would like to switch my service academy selection from X academy to X academy......or is the die already cast and it is too late?

Why not call your Senator’s office and find out?

If the worst answer is “No, you cannot change it” then you’re no worse off than you are now.

My son tried that last year…after a rep from Academy B spoke with him and indicated how much they were interested in him as opposed to Academy A (his first choice) who would barely return phone calls or emails. Sadly, once the Senator’s deadline had passed, they would not allow him to change his preference so he ended up with a nom for Academy A (who didn’t offer him an appointment) and no nom for Academy B (who did apparently want him.)

Best of luck to you…go ahead and call. Hopefully your Senators will be more flexible than ours!

It depends on your MOC, but it is worth a call to the academy rep at the MOC office to ask the question. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Be ready with an explanation as to “why” just in case you are “asked.”
