Can someone check my grammar for this short accounting mentee letter

After exploring the different majors as an undeclared student, I realized that accounting classes were the perfect match for my personality. Management 30A and Management 30B classes allowed me to combine my passion for math with my interest in helping businesses maintain financial stability.

I decided to take my interest in accounting to the next level by joining Accounting Association. Not only have I learned more about careers in the accounting world but I have also developed friendships with accountants. I still need guidance in order to break into the accounting world. As an Accounting Association Mentee, I hope to land an internship that will establish my career as an accountant.

Sorry if I’m blunt:

1) It’s Math* not ‘math’. The names of specific courses are always capitalized.
2) I have developed relations* not ‘friendships’ with accountants. It’s more… Professional, I guess.
3) You’re repeating the word ‘accounting/accountant’ waaayyy too many times. Your paragraph is a bit stiff, and needs polishing. Try to make the words flow smoother across the (mental) tongue. Right now your application is porridge, make it into a hot fudge sundae :)

Your issue isn’t grammar. Decision makers will be much more interested if the letter is more conversational. I’ll take a quick try at what I think is a better approach.

I am very interested in the accounting internship position. I plan to pursue a full-time career in accounting and would really appreciate the opportunity to obtain some real world accounting experience. I have a good grasp of accounting and am a hard worker so I know I’ll do a good job. I have taken several accounting classes and joined the Accounting Association and now I am hoping to participate in the workforce as an accounting intern. Thanks for your consideration.

Feel free to PM me with more questions. I have some experience with this type of issue.

I agree with the above statement ^.^
