<p>Hi, I am applying to the University of Florida. The application is due tomorrow, and I'm finishing up my essay. My mom keeps asking me to add that my grandfather graduated from UF (there's a question that asks if you've had immediate family members who attended, so I can't put it there), but I feel like it's irrelevant to the prompt. I'd like some opinions on whether adding this in my essay would be beneficial or whether it isn't important at all.</p>
