I'm attending community college next year, planning on getting a 4.0 of course. But I'd love it if someone could give me some tips on extra curricular activites and basically anything "above and beyond" that I can do to ensure that I at least have a chance at getting in. Thanks!

Also, my high school GPA is a 3.7 and my SAT is a 1980

I think ECs aren’t as important for transfers as it is for hs students, so what I recommend is only doing ECs related to your major. Also, if you plan on transferring as a junior, your hs scores will almost not matter at all and many schools won’t require the SATs, but as a sophomore, they will look at your SATs and hs records. The most important things for transferring are GPA, Curriculum, and Personal Statement (especially if you’re transferring as a junior)
