<p>Hi, i'm an international student from South Korea.</p>

<p>Korea's fiscal years follows the calendar year so that's (jan. 1~ Dec. 31). </p>

<p>i have my figures for the tax return of last year (2012), but not for this year yet.</p>

<p>In the CSS profile, I'm asked this Question: </p>

<p>Has the student completed an income tax return for the 2013 tax year?</p>

<p>and here are my answer choices :
1. completed an income tax return
2. will file, but has not completed an income tax return
3. not required to, and will not file an income tax return</p>

<p>which answer choice should I choose? the third one? or the second one providing the estimate value of my income tax return of year 2013?</p>

This. It sounds like you (/your family) will file a tax return for 2013, but you haven’t done that yet because the fiscal year isn’t over yet.</p>

Does " the student" here mean student and his parents? !

If yes

“Does the student own all or a part of a business, corporation, partnership, farm, home, or other real estate, or is the student self-employed?”

Would the answer to this question be yes if his parents own a piece of real estate?
