CSS Profile- Has the student filed an income tax return for the 2014 tax year?

<p>I'm filling out the CSS profile and have two questions: </p>

<p>1) Is the question "Has the student filed an income tax return for the 2014 tax year?" referring SPECIFICALLY to me (the student) or my family as a whole?</p>

<p>2) If the question is referring to my family, they won't be filing the 2014 return until 2015. In that case what option should I choose:
a) completed an income tax return
b) will file, but has not yet completed an income tax return.
c) not required to, and will not file an income tax return.</p>

<p>Any help is greatly appreciated!!</p>

<p>There are other questions for your parents’ tax returns.</p>

<p>So for 2) it can’t be a) for either you or your parents at this point in time. Sounds like b) for your parents and b) or c) for you depending on how much, if any, income you will have in 2014 and whether there were any taxes withheld from a job that you want to get back.</p>
