Does anyone know?

I don't know about Cal as I'm not a student there, but at USC there are so many students in line by the time they open the gates they don't even look at the picture on the ID. Lots of people who will be out of town loan out their IDs to visiting friends of friends.

my friend got caught by a police at the gates when he tried to use his friend's cal1card. his friend let him borrow it, but wasn't there with him.

if you look similar you can pass
or if the picture is beat up and like...faded maybe

you get charged like 50 bucks if they catch you

seriously? that sux, just get the free tickets if your a frosh, i don't get why some frosh don't, it's an experience worth going to even if you don't like football, just to get involved with some of your fellow comrade students.

or buy the season tickets, it's a steal for 5-6 games and $82

Speaking of which -- when do they send us our tickets? I'm leaving this week and haven't seen MY TICKETS!

ur tickets are on your card

How do you get free tickets?

zee it might be too late for you, i think the frosh could get their free tickets starting august 1st. go to calbears.com and dig around.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I've been kicking myself for waiting too long and missing out on the free tickets or one of the student season tickets. $82 for six games is amazing, considering tickets to the games are $34-44 each. And I would've been able to go to the Tennessee/USC games, which have been sold out for ages :( Oh well, I'll have to try to get some off of StubHub...

Beatchick: if you got the student tickets, you just swipe your Cal1 card for entry. There's no actual tickets.

Thanks, I did! My parents DID, however, also buy me a couple of reg. price USC and Tenn tickets and I don't have those, but I guess they can send them to me.

Aren't USC and Tenn games included with Student Season tickets this year?
