<p>Just out of curiosity does anyone know if its possible to get a minor as incoming transfer? I am majoring in Poli-Sci but I am also interested in getting a minor in Public Health.</p>
<p>Yes. You have to complete the same prerequisites as you would for the major if you want to minor.</p>
<p>So then how is a “double major” done?</p>
<p>Minors usually require a shorter list of major core courses. However, in order to take these courses you may need to complete prerequisites before you can enroll in them.</p>
<p>Double major requires you to take the full list of the major core courses in each major. So it’s as if you are majoring in both fields.</p>
<p>Can you minor or double major in anything? Like I am a psych pre-major, but I am really interested in music…apart from taking the requisite classes will it be difficult to get “approval” or deal with whatever red-tape to get a minor in music history?</p>
