Can UT Austin revoke my admission

I was automatically accepted to UT Austin for the fall 2017 school year for being in the top 7% of my class. If I fall out of the top 7% or even top 10% my senior year can my admission be taken away? Will I be fine if I maintain A’s and B’s. Also i’m thinking about getting out if my AP classes and taking regular classes, would that look bad?

“Most recent available class rank, based on a point in time no earlier than the end of the 11th grade, shall be used for admission decision-making.”

They admit you based on the rank you submit. If you fell below the ranking, you are already admitted, so nothing would change.

However, colleges generally want to see that your final high school transcript shows good academic performance in the in-progress course work that you reported when you applied. Poor grades (especially a D or F grade, or GPA substantially lower than before or below a threshold stated by the school) or a change in courses (particularly to less rigorous ones) that you did not inform them of before being admitted could cause a school that admitted you to rescind its offer of admission.

When a college makes an admission offer, it should include some list of conditions that you must fulfill.

Keeping in the A-B range is fine. But if you switch to a lower level of a class the college will find out when they get the final transcript and has the right to rescind your admission. I would contact admissions and get their approval in writing before dropping out of any APs.

I agree with what was stated above that it is highly unlikely that UT would revoke your admission, just don’t get a felony anytime soon! BUT, it could affect the decision on your Major, ie leftover COLA majors versus McCombs or Cockrell majors.
