Can we not take AP Exams?

good to hear. best of luck!

hey man, relax about the ap stat test. i took it last year, my first and only ap test i took last year, and i thought i bombed it. well, as it turns out i got a 5 on it. they are REALLy easy on grading this one i'm sure. just get an ap book and skim throught it. and Definitely check out AP Central-

<a href="http://apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/members/exam/exam_questions/index.html%5B/url%5D">http://apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/members/exam/exam_questions/index.html</a></p>

and do the practice probs they have for the stat exam. they have the
free response questions there from 1998-2006 with solutions. so there's
plenty to do.

hope this helps

I've heard it's not a very hard test compared to other AP's. However, I've had a terrible time with Stat this year so there really isn't a point in taking the AP to find out in July I got a 1 on the test. Hell, I've barely got a C right now so I need to keep that so I don't get my acceptances rescinded.

Its slightly considered hard because the students who take it are primarily those who count handle calc during their senior year and take it instead. Combine that with the fact that most of those also get hit hard by senioritis and voila, instant crap-scores. Thats the reason I Was the first, and so far only, person in my HS's history to pass it.

From what my friends say about Stats, it seems a lot harder than calc oO;; My friend got A's throughout calculus AB and BC, and on the mock final for calc AB, he missed a perfect AP graded score by 2 points. This year, I guess senioritis might be a contributing factor, but he's barely edging out a C in that class. Makes me glad I took calc CD this year xP

I wish I didn't even take the class in the first place. I'm gonna call UCI and CPSLO to see if I can drop the class.

Definitely call before you drop. Adcoms take these things pretty seriously.

Do any of you know the AP policy for UCSC?

What do you mean by AP policy?

I mean their policy towards AP exams.
