Can you Answer this one?

<p>Hey All!! I am a high school senior.
I recently posted a thread, <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/1463255-worth.html?highlight=preetsingh%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/1463255-worth.html?highlight=preetsingh&lt;/a> (CC vs 4 year query)
And........after a lot of discussions and stuff with everyone I chose CC.
I probably will be better of financially and about the dorm/social experience,I guess I'm an extrovert,so no issues :P
Like every other kid on Collegeconfidential---I'd like to transfer to UC berkeley,UCLA,Stanford,Michigan,UIUC,GeorgiaTech,Caltech and Stanford....
I have cousins in California and plan a CC there.
You guys have any idea as to which CC has a good reputation for transfers and what are their "Tie Ups" with colleges mentioned above :D :D
Help would be much appreciated
:D
And...Can I file the FAFSA even if I haven't applied to a CC(I will be applying but in April)</p>

<p>Go to any CC in the same state where the school you want to transfer to is located.</p>

<p>Transferring to top private schools is much more difficult than to top public schools. Stanford’s acceptance rate of transfers is 1-2%. On the other hand, many state schools will offer guaranteed transfer agreements with the CC’s in the same state. The mid level UC schools will guarantee admission as long as you get a 3.2, sign an agreement at the start of your CC education, and take the required classes.</p>

<p>If I sign an agreement,am I then bound to that college only?</p>

<p>What is your home state? </p>

<p>Since you’re going to go to a CC for money reasons, then you need to be aware that transferring to OOS publics will not likely be affordable. </p>

<p>Are you planning on going OOS to a CC in California? Will you be living with them while attending a CC near their home?</p>
