Can you apply as a freshman to a college if you are already enrolled in a college?

<p>I am not doing well academically at my current college. I am taking 15 credits but I am failing two classes. I will probably end up with 9 credits this semester. Is it possible for me to transfer to another school as freshman applicant even though I am already enrolled in a college? I have a strong high school resume and will have at least 9 completed college credits. Please help me.</p>

<p>You need to check the college websites as colleges have different definitions of who is a fr and who is a tr applicant. For instance: at GWU, you are a transfer if you have taken 1 post-HS college course; while at H & Y, you are still a fr applicant if you haven’t completed a full year of college.</p>
