Can you apply for college ON the deadline

Would you still have made the deadline if you applied the day of the deadline? Thanks in advance.

I think so. Most take the postmark date, or online date. It doesnt mean complete file, only that YOUR signed application is postmarked or submitted online. Is there some mean spirited ornery admissions officer out there ready to trash someone who misses the EA or ED deadline? I suppose there might be somewhere, but I would doubt it.

More directly, if the deadline is November 15th (for example purposes) you have until November 15th to submit. Just to make sure there is no confusion, November 15th at 11:55 p.m. is still November 15th.

That said, don’t get cute! Don’t submit with a couple minutes to spare ONLY to find out that it was rejected for incomplete entries only to miss the deadline while you’re scrambling to enter the missed information. Then you are in the embarrassing situation of contacting someone for an exemption and telling them a sad story they don’t want to hear.

Yes, for nearly every college. But I recently read that one (I forgot who) said all paperwork must be in their hands by the stated deadline.

Recommendations included? Oh, wait, I remember that school … it’s the University of the Easter Bunny.
