Can you apply to a college for transfer twice in one year?

I applied to a college I really want to transfer to last month & finally got all the forums that were needed in last week. However, since then my situation changed & I can’t transfer to the school I want to this coming semester (Spring '17). So my question is: If I am admitted into the college I applied to, can I apply for Fall '17 semester? Or must I wait a full year?

The reason I can’t attend this coming semester is due to FASFA issues & everything will be resolved over the next couple of months.

  1. Contact them and withdraw your current application.
    or
  2. Contact them about the FAFSA situation and ask what they need you to do to sort it out if you are accepted. Maybe it can be.
    or
  3. Ask to defer enrollment until the summer or fall if you are admitted for the spring and the financial aid mess has not been resolved.
