<p>I sometimes feel as if my youth pastor or my swim coach who both knew me for 10 years. couldn't they write a better letter? Are we allowed to ask them?</p>
<p>My cousin sent in extra letters of rec (one from a coach and one from his boss) as well as documentation of a few impressive achievements. He got into the school he did this for (he only did it for his first choice school). So unless the school specifically says you cannot send in extra letters/stuff I don’t see how it could hurt. But if they specifically ask for teacher recs, that is what you need to send.</p>
