can you attend law school the fall immediately after a summer graduation?

im planning on graduating next summer and would like to attend law school the fall immediately after i graduate. this means that i would have to apply to schools this fall, with approximately 50 credits left to do on my undergrad career. assuming that i can complete all 50 by the end of next summer, is attending law school that fall possible? one foreseeable problem is with my transcripts, since the schools to which i apply will have to make a decision based on my grades well before i actually graduate. any advice?

thanks

Call the law schools you want to apply to and ask them.

Yes at some schools, but take Chedva's advice and call. You should send a transcript of your fall grades to LSAC as soon as it's available.

One piece of advice I can offer is to think of your GPA now and where you think it will be by graduation. If you're looking at top law schools, your GPA is going to be extremely important, and if your last semester can boost your GPA, it might be worth waiting a year to apply so the law schools are evaluating you with a higher GPA. My last semester of college boosted my GPA .05 points, which is a pretty good amount, and I feel more confident of my chances at most of the schools I'll be applying to now than I would have had I applied a year earlier.

Law schools always accept college seniors without seeing all of their grades before graduation, since they start accepting people early in fall semester, on the condition that they provide a complete transcript showing graduation before enrollment. Each law school will have a deadline for this, usually sometime in August.
