Can you change your mind about your college decision?

This is my situation: In spring, I was deciding between 2 of the schools I got into. I wanted to go to school A (my absolute first choice), but my entire family wanted me to go to school B (which was my second choice, but my family considered school B more prestigious and more worth it in terms of long-term career goals).

Because my family would only pay for my tuition if I went to school B, and I would have no way of taking out a 60k/year loan on my own, I had no choice but to choose school B. However, recently, my parents have been thinking about whether they should have pressured me into going to my second choice instead of my first choice, and now they're saying that if it were possible to switch, they would be willing to still pay for my tuition.

So my question: Is this actually possible? I am aware that I would lose my previous deposit, but the difficult part is that would school A be willing to take me at such a late point? Has anyone experienced or heard about something like this?

Thanks!

Pick up the phone.

Call A.

Ask.

The only way you could find out is by calling college A. You may get lucky, but it is very late. Call tomorrow first thing.
