Changing your mind AFTER you decline a college?

<p>My friend declined a college based on finances and her father recently got a new job, so she can now afford that college. I'm curious as to whether or not she can accept that college after declining it. </p>

<p>Can you decline a college and later call the admissions office and tell them that you have accepted them? This is not merely a change of heart, but it's based on finances. </p>

<p>Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I couldn't find the answer anywhere else...</p>

<p>it’s certainly possible and i have heard of people who’ve done it. she should call and give it a try</p>

<p>D got a letter from a school after she declined their offer which basically said if she changed her mind she should contact them. You’ve got nothing to lose by trying!</p>

<p>The sooner the better. I would do it first thing Monday…before they go to the waitlist.</p>
