Discussing answers on the forum after you have taken the test.

i was wondering that too..

its been done for many years... sat and act, only test you cant talk about is AP i think.

lol we're not supposed to be talkign about any of these tests...we signed that little blurb in cursive remember?

But we do anyway.

Did they start doing the written contract thing this year?

Damn, did we have to write that statement in cursive becaues I didnt. I wonder if that will void my answers.

its not the easiest thing to find out who you are.. if you have any concerns about this, look at the SAT forum after an SAT.. there is so much commotion over there, i got 100 post in one day, just about the problems.. they say not to discuss them, but its very difficult for them to do anything about it.

Yeah, nearly everybody seems to do it. And at breaks you aren't supposed to talk about the test, but I see tons of people do it. And for AP exams, you aren't supposed to talk about them for like 72 hours, but I know TONS of people that talk about it RIGHT after the test.

my procter said we didn't have to write the thing in cursive. she specifically said it doesn't have to be cursive, so it better not be a problem.

No, you are not supposed to be discussing the questions in any form of communication. This was presented, rather clearly, in the statement you signed your name to on the test. Not only was it written as such, you had to copy it! VeganActress, it won't be a problem. They do it if a legal issue arises, they do not handcheck each one as it would be costly and is simply unnecessary.

I find the argument that "people have been doing it for years" to be a rather laughable excuse for communicating test questions. In response to the statement that this is only true for AP and not SAT and ACT is completely false. It is true for all tests in which you sign your name to stating you will not discuss test questions.

I'm not trying to scare anyone, just be careful. You think test companies aren't aware of the most popular and widely used college admissions forum on the web?

Alright, I was just wondering because there has been lots of people discussing them on this forum.

Why don't moderators put this as a rule too and lock these topics to help these people. I know it says it on the test, but obviously it doesn't stop people from doing it.

lol, the mods used to try to stop it, but it was done anyway. and people are going to talk about the test anyway.

I don't see any problem with it. It says not to do it, but I have never understood why, afterall, the test is over.

Maybe because people in other country's havn't taken it yet, I don't know.

thats what different forms of the test are for.. i mean what happens if a test gets stolen. Everybody would know the answers, and well, that cant happen, so they have different forms

Well, as long as we don't have any info about ourselves on our public profiles saying who we are, then these testing companies can't really figure out who's talking about the test, can they? I mean, unless they get the FBI involved or something, but I think that would be just a tad too much trouble to go to find out who a few people discussing the test on the web are lol.
