I want to house in a Frat. My guardian’s income was absolutely nothing last year. That is what will be on my FAFSA $0. I am accepted to ASU but I defiantly do not qualify for any scholarships. I am from Nebraska so I will pay out-of-state tuition. So including housing, tuition, food, etc. So I guess my question is, can you you guys give me a rough estimate on how much I will have to pay.

ASU has a cost of attendance estimator that may help you. Although it only has a selection for the 2009-2010 school year right now, it will still be close. Housing rates and tuition will be slightly more expensive for next year, but it will still help you estimate the cost.

I think they’re pretty strict about requiring freshmen (and now maybe sophs) to live on-campus; I’m not sure if frats count as on-campus housing. They do have quite a few housing options at very different rates.

I’d guess next year’s cost of attendance with campus housing for an out-of-state student will be $30K. If you have a 0 EFC, you’ll certainly get Pell and maybe some other grants, but there could still be a very large gap to fill unless you have some other resources.

Pell Grant is $5500
