ok so i would like to major in either finance or accounting and these are the schools im applying to:

NYU stern
UPENN wharton
UM Ross(preadmit)
UVA
UC Berkeley

Can you help me decide which order to put these if accepted. I want to have a campus life. Also, please rank in terms of financial aid given also.

A QUESTION:
If im accepted to UVA, im i taking a big risk bc i have to reapply again my sophomore year to the business school? is it too risky?

U Penn
UC Berkely
NYU
UVA
UM Ross

well if you dont get into mcintire, you can always stay in CAS and go for an econ degree

UVA is generous with financial aid for low-income families.

Well, to McIntire? If you keep your GPA up, it shouldn't be an issue. The acceptance rate I believe is 60%+.

Plus there are definitely related options (still along the lines of finance/economics) even if you don't get in after your second year. IIRC, an undergrad business degree isn't required for a graduate business degree. (In fact, McIntire I believe prepares students for careers immediately after graduation, and isn't really preparation-for-grad-school focused.) Remember to ask yourself why you want to do business? It's probably because of some intellectual / social passion or another, and not because your parents are pushing you, right? :)

yea im pursuing business bc of my own interests and passions.

thanks anyone else?

Cal-Haas also requires that you apply after your Soph year. Plus, the UCs have poor finaid for OOS students -- heck, it's poor for instate students.

Campus Life: UM, UVa
Cal
Penn
