Can you help me predict my class rank?

First of all Hi there! I'm new to this site and think its a wonderful resource!

I'm currently a junior at a competitive public high school in Maryland. (I know everyone says their school is competitive but I'm just trying to put things in perspective. The competition at our school is quite vigorous.).

I would like to estimate what my rank is right now and how I might possibly improve it during the course of this year while I still have time. Obviously people here are not personally acquainted with my school so predictions might be difficult; but I'd still like to hear tips from people who are wiser and more knowledgeable than I.

So here we go
Class size: ~275

Weight:
4.0 scale for regular classes
4.5 scale for honors classes
5.0 scale for GT/AP classes

Freshman Classes/grades

English 9 Honors/ A
US History Honors/ A
Algebra 2 GT/ A
Biology GT/ A
Spanish 2 reg/ B
Concert Band/ A
Health and PE/ A

Sophomore Classes/grades

English 10 GT/ A
Government and Politics AP/ A
Precalc GT/ A
Chemistry GT /A
Spanish 3 reg/ B
Guitar 1/ A
Technology Systems/ A

That puts my current UW GPA to 3.86 and Weighted GPA to 4.36.
I am good friends with about four students with the highest Weighted GPAs of the entire junior class. They currently have W 4.75 and that worries me since the difference is quite pronounced.

I'm taking these classes right now (Junior):

World History Honors
Biology AP
Calculus AB AP
Physics C Mechanics AP
English 11 Language AP
Guitar 2
Spanish 4 Honors

I will try my hardest to get straight As this year and bring up my rank. With this, Weighted GPA estimate of 4.571. Based upon past experience with your high schools, would this earn top 10% of your class?

Thanks! I really do appreciate any insight that you can kindly donate!

No, we can't, for the same reason colleges recalculate everyone's GPA. There is an enormous difference from school to school. A 4.0 is achieved once in a decade at some schools and doesn't make top 20% at others.

Your guidance counselor will know. Hopefully.
Ask him/her what the x person is. Let person x be the current person at your school at 10% and try to bump him/her off! XD

such inquiry is a simple question for a school counselor.

I'm sorry if I might have offended you, dimension11. I'm not looking to brag; just seeking some tips on improving. My school counselors weren't very helpful when I asked them so I decided to come on this site for advice.

GPA/Class Rank is hard to guesstimate between different school systems. For example, at my school we receive a 4.0 for an A in a regular class, 3.0 for a B and so on. 0.17 is added to the average of the 4.0 scale for each honors and AP class (they have the same weight). Based on this scale at my own high school, a 4.57 would not be in the top ten percent but top 12-13. However, your 5.0 for AP is much higher and would drastically increase the top 10% GPA.
