does anyone know where i can find information about the internship offered to wellesley students to work in washington dc in the summer i think?

Department of Political Science

I believe it's that one..

i'd like to thank you for your help

but i have a few more questions

what are the qualifications, do you have to be a poli sci major, can you only do it one summer, what amount of money do you recieve,

i can't get the link at the bottom to open Overview of the Program & Application Procedures can you tell me how to get it to open

it says there is a problem

and anything else you think would be more helpful

is there a page with more information about the program

thanks for all you help

I wish I could help out more, but I'm not a student at Wellesley (just an ED applicant!), therefore I only know what the website provides.

I couldn't get the link at the bottom to open either. I believe some of the links on the (public) Wellesley website are a bit outdated.

However, about the Wellesley in Washington Internship, I believe it's only for juniors, and I don't think you have to be a Poli Sci major. It's not part of the CWS stipend program (where you receive $3500 or so + airfare + occasional housing); you would really have to contact the Political Science Dept for that sort of info.

Here's a link to all internship programs offered by the College
Internships: Wellesley College Internship and Stipend Programs

ok well thanks for all your help

and good luck on your admission let me know how it goes

Google isn't very helpful, in this case. The PoliSci website has a more recent update of the page you're looking for. The links to images are broken, but the rest of the information is there, including the overview and application information that wasn't available on the other page mentioned in this thread.

thanks for your help

i have one more question

can someone cut and paste the application

because i don't have that program and therefore can't open the application

by the way i can not actually apply i only want to know what they look for, i am a junior in high school and only 16, but i just wanted toknow

The application is a bit long to post, IMO, but if you copy and paste the entire link (http://www.wellesley.edu/Polisci/WIW/applic2008.doc) into google, it'll give you the option of viewing it in HTML format.

Or, just click on this link and click on "View as HTML"
http://www.wellesley.edu/Polisci/WIW/applic2008.doc - Google Search

Thanks :) and I'll definitely keep you posted on my application status.
Good luck to you in your junior year!
