I want take about 10 CLEP tests and I do not know if my “previous knowledge” on all of the subjects are adequate. for example I can CLEP out of Spanish because I speak it at home but I only dropped out of a Psychology class once and I want to take one of those too. my question is: Can you pass CLEP exams with just the knowledge of the Collegeboard study guide and or a REA book/CD?
For some people, yes. For others, no. Have you looked for an official CLEP practice test in each of the subjects you are considering? If so, what kind of score did you get?
Have you verified with your college/university that they will grant CLEP credit for these 10 tests? Ten tests sounds a little high in regards to the maximum number of CLEP credits various schools typically allow.
I would be taking five at my community college and five at the college i am transferring to so not all ten tests would be transferred to one college.
I understand, but those 5 tests you take at your community college will appear on your community college transcript. The college you are planning to transfer to will probably count those credits towards their maximum limit. Have you checked with them?
I haven’t yet but I will on the 21st.
definitely. my brother would study hard for a weekend and then take it and pass. just use those books and study them . he must of passed 10 that way. remember not everybody takes them as credit though.
