Can you please chance me for stern?!

Hi! When I say nyu is my #1 choice school, you have no idea how deep that passion runs and I intend to show that in my essays. I also have some outstanding letters of rec. My college councillor says that i shouldnt even bother applying to stern because i love nyu so much and if I dont get into stern, I dont get into nyu(she suggests cas and even then its a stretch). I know stern is competitive and my act is still a little low, but I still think I’m a competitive canidate?? Also, I am a white female.

Should aim for a 32 or more. 26 would be low for any NYU school, let alone Stern. If ACT’s are a problem, maybe take the SAT once. It’s a lot less time consuming now, thanks to the new format which comes out in January.

Well, I have a 30. I took the ACT twice

But you’re saying 30 without writing. They need writing too.

Ill Retake it with writing too, though. My councillor says that they don’t care about the writing score, they just need it so they know you can write. If i submit the 30 and the 26, they’ll only look closely at the 30
