Can students of residence halls (I live in Bowles) receive postal packages via carriers like USPS, UPS, Fedex, DHL, etc.? If so, how does that work, and are there any problems with packages that require signatures, etc.? thanks.

im thinking about ordering clothing, but im not sure if i should ship it to my campus address or home address.

I don't know about Bowles, but for the residential halls, when they bring it to the mail area, the desk person will sign for the package and keep it behind the counter.

I imagine it probably should be the same for Bowles.

Yeah I LOVE getting stuff shipped to dorms b/c it's so easy. You don't have to worry about whether you'll be there to sign for the package, etc etc.

What happens if you get a package is that someone in the mailroom will place a slip into your mailbox that lets you know you have a package waiting for you. You take that slip up to the counter, someone checks your ID to verify it's you, gets your package, and then you sign your name in a binder. (At least, this is how it worked in the units, but like the person said above, I imagine it works the same way for Bowles)
