Can you see an eagle at LU - where?

An LU alumna once mentioned to us that she saw an eagle when at LU. Does anyone know of places to go to find an eagle? Our family is going to visit up there this w/e.

There are many birds on the river. My son had a dorm last year that was right over the water with a full river view and lots of birds. Take the river walk that's on the other side of the river from the campus. You go down Water St. from Hiett and cross the bridge by the old mills and then head back towards campus but on the other side of the water. A more extensive park and trail map system for the whole area is located on this page: Appleton.org | City of Appleton, Wisconsin

Enjoy your stay!

Oh yes and after a nice, long walk don't forget the Chocolate shops in the area. A Tour of Candyland in Wisconsin, Timeless and Sweet - New York Times

thanks , overseas, for the input. We had a great time at LU and the environs. Wife got to finally see it, which is nice. :)

An eagle sat on my Hiett window once. Sometimes I see eagles over the Colman bridge.
