I was very sleepy and bored during the test so I didn't do that well. I speak fluent english. I am very confident that my SSAT will be aorund 85%....
Can I still get in with that TOEFL score? and will the high SSAT score help me?</p>
<p>Some schools like fx Deerfield have a minimum score around 100-150 so they wouldn’t let you in with that score. Others however don’t even require it, only recommend it (probably so they can evaluate you given the fact that your not a native English speaker = might not do so well on the SSAT). </p>
<p>But if there is a great discrepancy between your SSAT and TOEFL they might think you cheated :S The only way to explain that would be to tell them you weren’t really paying attention and then they could think that you’re not very dedicated. </p>
<p>If you only scored that low because you weren’t paying attention, then why don’t you just take it again? They’re scheduled pretty frequently and only require a weeks notice.</p>
