I got a 71% overall for 9th grade.
I took the test in 8th grade and got 93% overall just a little fyi (dont ask me what happened because i dont know either)
is acceptance to exeter andover or deerfield impossible with scores like this? the 71% that is
I have all A/A+'s for school so do you think they would overlook the score?
also, I have heard anybody under 85% is immediately put to the back of the pile but i dont know if this is true....

It’s pretty below average, but not bad enough to eliminate you.
It’s still a really strong score. If the rest of your app is really strong, I doubt it will keep you from getting in. Your only worry is if it’s between you and another similar candidate with better scores. But standardized testing generally doesn’t make or break your application unless you score under, say, 50% (for these schools). you did well.

No offense but that is pretty low…it can degrade you, maybe not make or break you

yah im expecting rejection letters anyway, and ive realized that i can do great things at my current school

good attitude to go into it with ^^

I was pretty awful in my vocab part, but what if i have a relatively higher Math result? Do I still have a chance?

Same with me cindirella. My reading section is somewhere around up 60%, my overall percentile is 87. Yet my reading section at toefl got 28 out of 30, and overall 108…
