hey ppl the other june 06 thread has grown to 1000+ posts... we internationals just dont seem to discuss much!!!!

yea well.. since much more took the test than internationally..

anyway.. precarious.. i don't quite remember

can anyone remind me?

it was about some guy who was positioned one foot above the ground....

That question was supine for sure. Look it up!! If the person is working only one feet from the ground on a very low ceiling, he must be lying flat. Precarious would only apply if he's in a dangerous situation, like dangling from the roof by a rope...I picked precarious at first but realized quickly that he must have been laying flat, making supine the right answer.

i think i picked supine to, but i dont remember...it was ok, i probably didnt do too well on the CR, and the Writing but i'll see. Only 20 days till results!

humph= = can you recall which math is hard to do ? - -

yah supine is right i guess - -

the writing is tricky, i found 4 Es i guess - - i don't remember where, more postings ok ?

i find the cowboyz is hard for the second passage, does it really hard ? - - writing . . for a good reason, CB always puts 3-4 Es in every writing section. the math for the third section ( i miss 2-3 things i guess) but overall it is fine- grid in is ok, and the last math is easy. the writing section ==> the reading and the first number of it, is really hard- - just leave it blank

hmm i dont really remember number of E's..
i guess u guys r right about supine..:(

I found the writing section really easy... esp the spot-the-mistake ones.

Was the question in teh writing section "Conformity of standards" wrong? Isn't the idiom "Conformity to" or "Conformity with"?

A quick search on Google shows "conformity of" yields about 200 results while "conformity to" yield about 20,000 results. Thus I think that is an idiom error.

How many no errors did you guys get? I got 4...(and I think that's a bit much but I can't find the errors!)

4 definitely - - no Cb always has 3-4 Es

yeah...around 3-4 Es...........writing is ok.....a bit unsure of CR....

After the Test

If you took the black-and-white cover version of the SAT Reasoning Test on Saturday, June 3, 2006, you had one of three section orders. Your test was organized like this:

Essay

Reading (includes 2 long passages)

Math

Math (includes SPR questions)

Reading

Equating (the one that doesn't count toward your score)

Writing

Math

Reading

Writing

OR, like this:

Essay

Writing

I took the 3rd one, maths section 5 experimental which ****es me off :(

When I was taking th test, I thought section 4 was gonna be experimental so I didn't really put in much effort (which was very stupid).

Yeah I had the 3rd one too. But I remember figuring out which section was experimental because one of the sections had 1 or 2 fewer questions than a normal section.

is that so ? = = i guess oasis not really right - - don't ever think which section is experimental by figuring out the number of the questions k ? - -

do you remember the experimental questions ?

was the question with the supine in the experimental section?

I don't know, I'm just saying that I remember seeing a math section with a strange number of questions and thinking to myself, "This must be the experimental." But it's irrelevant since I tried my hardest on each section.

^ For mine the experimental was a math section so it depends on which version you took. Did you have 4 critical reading sections?
