Everyone (Canadians) can post their scores here in this format:

Grade 11 - First time
M 710
CR 670
W 710 (10 essay)

Total: (1380/600) 2090

Comments: Pretty disappointed, but I will write it again in June and Oct. Hope to improve and get better with my timing. Writing score was a shock as I expected a 760 or 10 points above or lower. Math, I guess I made 1 or 2 more errors than I thought I did....

If you score 2000+ on your first try, don’t worry too much because you should be able to improve 100-200 points. Same thing happened with me. If, however, Math is you “thing” and you excel in it, 800 should be the aim in math.

Oooo, I just found the place where they show you the percentage and essay scores and stuff (- -…yep, really slow here…), I got a 10 on the essay. Yayyyy. xD

Heya Canadian CC’ers!! I’m new on this forum-- decided to join instead of browsing/creeping around xD

Has anyone taken SAT subjects last May?
I took both Math I and II because I wasn’t sure which suited me.
Math I: 770
Math II: 770
Will take Math II again in Oct. to see if I can boost. Somewhat disappointed because of the generous curve, but I’m satisfied for my first SAT tests ever!

I’m from BC, grade 11 currently & I’m sure we’ll get to know each other very well as '15 applications approach! :)

Grade 11 - First time
M - 610
CR - 670
W - 670 (essay 9)

Comments: WHAT. A. FAIL. XD Though, considering the fact that I took it to see what my score would be and not for the sake of actually using the score for applying to colleges… I’m okay with it. I studied at home by myself and I don’t think I started to take it super seriously until April. I’m definitely taking it again in the fall. And I’m taking a SAT Prep Course in the summer.

EDIT: And KAPLAN SUCKS. JUST SAYING. All of their practice tests are waaay easier and I think that made me feel a bit more self-assured when I was actually writing the test.

^don’t take a prep course! trust me. i took one with princeton review and it was supposed to be the classroom class, but it was even better because we had only 5 students in the class. it was like basically 1 on 1…BUT it was still garbage. Score went down since that course. No improvement at all with that course, just wasted Sat. and Sun. driving back and forth. I’m trying to get a refund right now…

^yea, I’d use the summer to study instead of a prep course. But, if you like and learn better with someone teaching you, by all means go for it. I’m just more independent and found the prep course to be a waste. But if you like someone to talk to about the SAT, some extra help, some guidance, etc. then a prep course is the way to go.

@bosingwa…huh??? who are you even talking to?
