I emailed the VYPS asking for a chance of audition, and that doesn't work, I will try the Delta one.</p>

<p>yeah...I'm not terrifically good though... I have a friend who is at piano ARCT level; another friend who plays trombone in a few professional/semi-pro bands; and a few others who are not that stellar but are able to play one or two instruments as well. </p>

<p>Don't worry, I was in the VYSO for many years, and they practically accept anyone who tries out. And Dana Zhang, from ur stats, u are DEFINITELY gonna get accepted into VYSO. It's not hard. Sigh...I wish I didn't quit the orchestra two years ago, thinking about it now, it'll seriously hurt my college apps.</p>

but its just much quieter than the city i used to live in</p>

i mean, it's like junior VSO(a PROFESSIONAL orchestra) right; aren't they supposed to pick only the best young musicians so it'll be easier to shape them VSO materials</p>
