Cannot stand German..?

I'm a sophomore this year and I'm in German 2 Honors. I have a B in the class currently (I received an A in German 1 both semesters). I cannot stand german. It's not the language itself, it's the class. I sit in front of a boy who harasses me, when I've expressed these concerns to the teacher, he is unconcerned and does not reprimand the other student. This class is giving me so much anxiety, I'm up at 4 something in the morning because it bothers me THAT much. Overall, I have a 4.1 GPA, how bad would it look if I dropped the class midsemester? I'm probably not going to be taking it next year, so how bad would that look also? Thank you.

Have you tried talking to guidance about this? They could be able to transfer you to a different class.

There are no other german 2 Honors classes, the program is too small.

Absolutely go to your guidance counselor, she/he can help negotiate a solution with the teacher, it’s part of their job description. It could be something as simple as creating a seating assignment with you sitting far away from this boy. If that doesn’t work, have one of your parents politely but firmly get involved and mention that it’s creating a hostile environment, possibly involves sexual harassment and is affecting your academic performance. Getting a B in a challenging class is not the end of the world and you still have a half year to go to bring it back up so don’t drop the class, get the full credit for it and move on to bigger and better things.
