Can't find books online?

I tried searching the ISBN of the books I need on amazon, ebay, halfoff, and some other sites and I cant find them anywhere? why is this?

Are you sure you entered the ISBN correctly without any extra spaces in the front? Otherwise, try just inputting the name of the textbook directly. You’ll usually still be able to find the book that you’re looking for.

Yeah I’m sure, and I tried doing that and I found the textbooks but when I check the ISBN, it doesnt match with zotportals. -__-

Some may be exclusive “UCI” editions. That’s my guess…

Are you talking about books needed for Fall classes? If so…most people don’t buy books until after their class starts. The professor often tells you that you don’t need certain books and tells you where to get them for the cheapest prices…so don’t get them right now.

ok thanks!

Alright, time to make magic happen up in here.

Just go to the discussions part on that site, and people will be selling the books for much cheaper than you’d normally get them at at the bookstore, even the used prices. They sell it on the Facebook page at the sellback prices, and of course, you can buy it then sell it back on there if you’d like at the same price, so not much loss to you.
