Can't Waitlist for Classes?

<p>I am trying to waitlist for classes, but when I type in the crn it says CLOSED - 0 WAITLISTED, and there is no dropdown menu to waitlist. Anyone know why?</p>

<p>This happened to me once. I called the dept for the class and got some vague answer about the computer couldn’t handle waitlists for classes with labs - which of course we know isn’t true. I think it was a physics class I was trying to get. Basically, the dept can mark the class as closed and all you can do is show up the first day and see if there are no shows.</p>

<p>I could be wrong but I don’t think you can waitlist any class until Pass 2.</p>
